Activity: PARALELA 45 Publishing House was founded in November 1994 by the poet and essayist Călin Vlăsie, experiencing rapid and substantial development: in 1997 it already had its own printing house, in 1998 it opened branches in Brașov and Cluj-Napoca, in 2001 in Bucharest, and since 1999 it has been operating in a new headquarters, with spaces specially created for the different compartments of the editorial and printing flow. The editorial interest was initially directed towards didactic books, so that later the publishing house also concentrated its resources in the direction of contemporary Romanian literature, publishing among others one of the most beautiful and awaited collections, dedicated to the generation of the 80s. Since 2000 the publishing house has been expanding its interest towards the entire modern and contemporary Romanian literature. Currently, PARALELA 45 is a national leader in the production of school supplies and contemporary fiction and has reached, through a constant diversification of published titles, an encyclopedic profile: "A publishing house for everyone!"
