Activity: The Romanian Cultural Institute, a public institution of national interest, aims to promote Romanian culture in the world. The Romanian Cultural Institute houses the Book Center, which runs programs to finance the publication of books by Romanian authors or books about Romanian culture abroad (TPS – Translation and Publication Support Programme, 20 authors, Publishing Romania). The Book Center coordinates the organization and participation in international book fairs, organizes meetings with publishers from various linguistic areas and grants scholarships for foreign translators of the Romanian language. The Romanian Cultural Institute Publishing House, the publications Lettre Internationale, PLURAL and Euresis provide the foreign and Romanian public with an editorial offer of wide interest.
