Activity: The Silvică Publishing House is responsible for promoting the editorial activity within the Institute of Forest Research and Management – ​​ICAS and, in general, with the publication of works of interest in the field of forestry and environmental sciences. As a component of the research activity, the editorial concerns have been present since the establishment of (ICEF – Institute of Forest Research and Experimentation), the first volume of works – “Annals of ICEF” – being published in 1934, immediately after the establishment of the Institute; the publication appeared constantly until 1989, with an interruption during the Second World War. After 1948, the institute's publications appeared grouped in series (collections), published regularly until 1990. The editorial activity of the Forestry Technical Publishing House was revitalized starting in 2002, when the Institute of Forestry Research and Management, following requests addressed to the Ministry of Culture and Religious Affairs and the National Library of Romania, obtained the operating permit and the related ISBN and ISSN codes. With the reorganization in 2007, the publishing house changed its name to Forestry Publishing House.
